Today – Tuesday, June 5, 2007, marks the sixth Hunger Awareness Day.
The Hunger Site - You can help with just a free click
The America’s Second Harvest Network provides emergency food assistance to more than 25 million Americans in need every year.

One way to honor the Goddess and Nature is share the abundance of food with others.
Are there ways you can help? Are there small changes you can make that would make a difference?
Giving some real thought to what it truly means to be hungry can bring a whole new perspective to your daily life. Think about all the food you eat that is a waste – your body doesn’t need it. Think about all the food that is just thrown in trash. What if each one of us took the time and energy to NOT buy cookies and chips one week and instead donated that money to helping feed the hungry? What if we didn’t buy cake and ice cream one week but used that money to prepare a meal for someone we know who is struggling and finding it hard to feed their children? What if some of us planted some extra veggies or fruits in our gardens and shared with neighbors that are not as fortunate. With just a few simple changes we can make the world a better place and help stop hunger.
Bright Blessings, Lady Rose
