***** HOGWARTS HOSTS A MAGICAL CELEBRATION *****A Special Day for Young Witches and Wizards
Aspiring young witches and wizards will be gathering today, May XX, 2007, for a Hogwarts Celebration held in honor of ***name*** 11th birthday. Those attending were specially selected from *name* relatives and friends who show great promise as future leaders of the wizarding world. The festivities will take place at a secret location where several of the Hogwarts staff have magically transported everything needed for a truly magical day.
Attendees will begin their day browsing and shopping for wares from Diagon Alley. Next the students will enjoy a complimentary snack and beverage from the Three Broomsticks Inn where Madam Rosmerta has brewed up a fresh cauldron of pumpkin juice just for the occasion. Then it’s off for a whirlwind sampling of classes, and even a Wizard Tournament. A huge feast will be presented for all to enjoy, ending of course with a delicious birthday cake of magical proportions. Inside sources tell us that the young witches and wizards are in for a delightful day with lots of enchanting treats and goodies to take home, including samples from Honeydukes Sweetshop.
| FAULTY WANDS RECALLED |
A warning was issued this morning from the Ministry of Magic about a shady street peddler in Diagon Alley named “Honest Willy Wagstaff.” Any one spotting him should NOT purchase one of his wands and report his location to the Ministry of Magic. If you suspect you have already acquired one of his wands do NOT use it until you have it checked by the Ministry.
| INQUIRY AT THE IMPROPER USEOF MAGIC OFFICE |
Scandal hit the Improper Use of Magic Office yesterday, as an inquiry was launched in the mysterious disappearance of a Muggle “tube train” on Friday evening. An anonymous source revealed that the offender is related to a Ministry official. Fortunately muggles did not notice that the train had gone missing and it was returned without incident.
