I have too many critters around my house to try an herb garden at ground level so I was hoping the window box thing might work, even if I have to wait til next year . . .</description>

		<description>My thoughts are along the lines that it is probably too late to expect much of a harvest to put away but still plenty of time to plant a few herbs to use in your cooking the rest of the summer so long as you start with seedlings as opposed to seed.

Most herbs fare very well in high sunlight so long as they are watered well and have adequate drainage.
