Today marks Gamer Dude’s 38th birthday. Unfortunately the day pretty well sucked for him in terms of having to run me to and from work, go to two different Dr. appointments (one for him, one for Miss artistic), skip on a sit down dinner, and have a rushed slice of cake.
We plan to make it up to him on Saturday with a day out just the four of us and then dinner out on Mr Grumpy.
In the meantime let me say for the record that the years may come and go, may bring their share of pain and loss and general woe, but I am grateful to have his hand to hold as I walk through them.
Every year I thank the powers that be for the simple gift of having him in my life.
