Oh Boy am I a tired puppy.
I left work at 4:30 and went straight out Holiday shopping. I had some coupons that required I go out sometime this weekend to get some extra savings and since tomorrow will see me with the girls at a Kiddy Christmas Party and Sunday will find me at work it was now or never.
I hit Fashion Bug, Burlington Coat Factory and Barnes and Noble and walked in the house just about 8:30. It was a torrential downpour when I came home so everything I purchased is still in the trunk of my car.
I purchased a few things that I simply can’t wait to give to the intended recipient. One very practical purchase was new winter coats for the girls. While they have items that they are making do with right now, new coats were called for. Now if snow will only hold off until after Xmas. Or at least until a day or two beforehand so that I can let them unwrap them. LOL
Other items included new PJs for the elder child, cute socks for each of them, books, CDs, a couple of Barbie movies for the younger child even though I personally HATE Barbie movies, and an absolutely adorable pair of GOLD kitty earrings that my elder child will flip over that I found for only $12.
In addition to being BUSHED my sinuses are kicking up again most likely do to the extreme temperature shifts we are experiencing and allergies (to mold I think). I am hoping that I do not come down with another sinus infection as I cannot afford to miss ANY time off of work the rest of this month.
