It has been a rough week here in Mama Kelly’s household. Miss Artistic had another spike in her depression issues so my own anxiety, etc. has spiked as well. While I am always tired due to the poor quality (and limited amount) of sleep I tend to get, this week I am simply a zombie. The worst part of being this worn out is that due to having to leave work early on Tuesday because of this latest crisis I have to work on one of my 2 days off and then go straight into working 6 days straight during the week before Easter.
Right now the plan is to keep this upcoming week’s meals very simple to avoid having to do any major once-a-week cooking. Right now the plan is to smack up side the head the person who wakes me up early on Saturday morning and causes me to lose my one full nights sleep.
In other news, I have been plugging along in terms of working on “my book” as part of the 37 Days challenge I mentioned earlier this week. I have missed one day out of sheer physical and mental exhaustion but it is not the end of the world. I will simply pick up where I left off tonight.
For the most part my work has revolved around typing g eneral notes, hunting for recipes, and typing rhyming couplets to be used as part of spells. I am enjoying the process, but still am not 100% sure how I’m going to organize it all and have it come together as a cohesive whole. But, I’m sure that will come in time.
Odds are the next couple of weeks will find me quieter than usual as I have an essay to write (and midterm to study for) for my college course as well as our taxes to do.
Be blessed
PS I found a great site for those of us who are trying to save money by changing how nad what we eat. It is a site called Still Tasty which breaks down storage details and shelf lives of various food item.
