Yes I know I was just writing the other day about my Thanksgiving menu, but as soon as the leftovers are put away it is generally time to start thinking about what to cook for the next big holiday. I found a lot of good recipes pages out there, enough that I wish I could host a feast and invite everyone over.
Id like to do more with my “late Yule” (read Xmas) holiday dinner this year. I’m usually so exhausted after the madness between Thanksgiving and Yule (working so much, shopping, wrapping, tidying, etc.) that I make an extra nice meal but nothing as lavish as on Thanksgiving. I think this year I’ll add an extra side or two and see where it leads me.
And so without further adieu:
From Angelline – a small collection of recipes including stollen, wassail, and gingerbread
From Stella Maris – another small collection including “cocoa snowballs” and plum pudding
From Crystal Forest – eggnog, popcorn balls, and roast duck with apple and grape stuffing
From Goober’s Kitchen – cornbread stuffing (dressing) with sausage and apples, buttery mulled cider, mulled wine
From Pagan Recipes @ Everything2.com – caretaker farm bread, eggnog sparkle cookies, fruitcake
From Akasha – Morning Julegroed and solstice surprise salad
From Moonsweb – spiced fruit nog, Yule spiced tea, eggnog bread
From Pagan Hearth Recipes – apricot gems and pate cheesecake
How about some Icelandic Yule recipes or some Vegan recipes for the holidays
Enjoy!
Eat Hearty!
Blessings
