I agree with us keeping our identities safe, but there are those who go beyond freedom of speech though, therefore they are subjected to cyber-libel. I was cyber bullied for simply having an opinion and attacked below the belt online, in which if I have the money to persue a legal action I would. It is illegal for people to slander/use demafamtion of character online except if what they are saying fall under freedom of speech.

This is a great post. I had not heard of Doogan's actions until your post. The loss of being able to freely voice one's opinion is paramount, especially with the "witch hunt" atmosphere we have been in for years now. It is also important to be able to do the type of investigative reporting that doesn't allow corruption and unethical behavior to find cover in the shadows.
